Chimp Haven is offering you free chimpanzee ring tones designed by the audio masterminds
behind the movie, The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes.
Twentieth Century Fox sound engineers Chuck Michael and Smokey Cloud spent several days last January recording the chimpanzees’ vocalizations at Chimp Haven. They then used that audio for all of the ape vocalizations in the movie—which Chimp Haven is certain will win a 2012 Oscar for best sound track! Not only did Chimp Haven get a credit in the movie, it got additional attention on the Blu-Ray release. Chimp Haven President, Dr. Linda Brent; Board member and noted author, Frans DeWaal; and Behaviorist Amy Fultz were interviewed about chimpanzees for the additional features at the end of the movie.
And now, as a holiday gift to you and as a celebration of the film’s DVD/Blu-Ray release, Chuck and Smokey and a few Chimp Haven chimpanzees have created some of the wildest ring tones you have ever heard. Be sure to share them with your friends.
