Rock Center, the NBC news magazine show, discussed chimpanzee retirement and chimpanzees in biomedical research on their January 30th episode. NBC correspondent Lisa Myers addressed the issue of research chimpanzee retirement and spoke with Chimp Haven President and Director, Dr. Linda Brent.  The first part of the piece took place at Texas Biomed in San Antonio, Texas. Chimp Haven was featured in the second part of the piece.
