Aixa likes to spend time alone playing with her favorite toys – boxes and buckets. She also likes to carry purses and bags with ha
ndles. She is very protective of her friends, especially Ilona and Agnes. Aixa knows how to drive a hard bargain. She once got a hold of a large bucket of food that was not meant for her and refused to give it back to her caregivers. When she was offered multiple pieces of fruit in exchange for the bucket, she held it with her feet in order to take the food with both hands. Eventually, she abandoned the bucket when Chimp Haven caregivers offered her several smaller buckets in another room, each filled with goodies.
